Word! Comedy Special

Join WORD! — one of the UK’s longest-running spoken word nights — for an evening of high jinks and hilarity.
With performances from Ben Ennis, comedian and former Leicester City FC mascot, and poet Lydia Towsey, whose new book, Coffee with Cayetano (Burning Eye Books), brings ancestral interference, existential cacti and unsolicited advice from the dead.
“Funny, irreverent and rude, thanks to her mum, god bless them both.” — Mark Gwynne Jones on Lydia Towsey
Plus special guests, an open mic showcasing the region’s finest, and the infamous WORD! Raffle.
