After six years living in Japan, comedian Sam Joseph married the love of his life and embarked on the next sensible step in their international adventure: moving the family to Hawaii.
Hawaii 5-0 with Kids! is the story of what happened next.
From raising three children in two languages to culture clashes, parenting disasters and the peculiar realities of island life, Sam explores what happens when Japanese and British approaches to family life collide in the middle of the Pacific.
It's a warm, energetic and very personal stand-up show about parenthood, language, belonging and discovering that even paradise doesn't come with an instruction manual.
The follow-up to Sam's Edinburgh Fringe show I Think I'm Turning Japanese (I Really Think So, Not!), which audiences called "energetic, witty and heartwarming", "truly unique comedy" and "masterfully funny and heartwarming".
