Life is a Mistry follows Manchester-born, Indian-raised, two-time BBC new comedy awards shortlist comedian Amit Mistry as he attempts to make sense of the beautiful chaos that comes with being a husband, father and son, and the enormous difficulty each responsibility comes with. Caught between cultural expectations, modern family life and the everyday madness of parenting, Amit shares sharp observations and hilarious true stories that audiences from all walks of life can relate to.
With a natural storytelling style, quick wit and an honest outlook on a difficult life, Amit explores everything from marriage and raising children to navigating life as part of a close knit Indian family.
"Amit is so funny and professional, I couldn't recommend anyone more highly. The audience really ate him up!” - Stephen Bailey
"Keep an eye on him, he’s one to watch". - Buxton Fringe
