Kathy Rivett: This Is Kathy Rivett's Work In Progress

Shamelessly seeking her fame & fortune: two of the most unattainable goals for a career in alternative comedy, fresh faced and somewhat naive comic Kathy Rivett "an explosion of mad energy" (Chortle), is working out her debut show.

The multi award losing comedian and artist has been on telly, with the BBC New Comedy Awards in 2024 and has since made it to the Chortle Student Final for both her years at university so far. In 2026 she was selected as a Circuit Breaker for the Leicester Comedy Festival - it seems she really broke that circuit...

Rivett "redefines alternative comedy" (blizzard comedy) as she combines standup, characters and sketches to create something truly "unhinged"(Chortle). How does she make it work? That's what we're not fully sure yet and is exactly why this is a WIP.
