RoboScot – Kevin Daniel
Independent Comedy Festival, 9pm Firebug, Leicester – 19 February 2027

RoboScot is the brand‑new solo show from award‑winning comedian Kevin Daniel, one of the fastest‑rising storytelling acts in the UK. Born in Glasgow and now based in Leicester, Kevin has quickly become a favourite with audiences and promoters alike thanks to his commanding stage presence, warm charm, and razor‑sharp storytelling.

In RoboScot, Kevin takes a heartfelt and hilarious look at the slow, sneaky process of growing older — and his increasingly desperate attempts to avoid becoming the grumpy old man he swore he’d never be. Through vivid, relatable stories about life, love, and the long‑suffering patience of his wife, Kevin explores the chaos of aging with honesty, warmth and a playful sense of mischief. It’s a show for anyone who’s ever felt time catching up with them, or who’s wondered when exactly they started making that noise when they stand up.

Since starting stand‑up in 2019, Kevin’s rise has been remarkable. He has performed at many of the UK’s most respected comedy clubs, including The Stand, Glee Club, Hot Water, Frog and Bucket, Just the Tonic, Blackpool Comedy Station, Anglia Comedy, Last Laugh Comedy, Comedy Hot Spots, Funhouse Comedy, Big Deal Comedy, The Comedy Cow, Jokes On Us, Proper Funny Comedy, RockCentral Promotions and many more.

His festival credentials continue to grow, with sold‑out work‑in‑progress shows at the Leicester Comedy Festival, Glasgow International Comedy Festival, Brighton Comedy Festival, and Cambridge Fringe.

Kevin has also supported some of the UK’s best‑known comedians on tour, including Fiona Allen (2023), Nathan Caton (2022) and Jack Gleadow (2021).

In both 2022 and 2023, he reached the semi‑finals of British Comedian of the Year, was named in Chortle’s Ones to Watch, and in 2024 he won the prestigious Silver Stand Up Competition at the Leicester Comedy Festival — a major marker of rising star status.

Promoters across the UK consistently praise Kevin’s ability to light up a room:

“Kevin has a natural ability to fill a room with laughter, he’s a genuinely funny guy.”

"Kevin is a rock-solid comedian who consistently delivers big laughs. Confident, sharp and likeable with an audience."

“Headline‑quality hilarious… broad appeal… excels in front of a live audience.”

“Kevin is devastatingly funny, with a mix of relatable stories and crowd work that just keep the laughs coming again and again."

RoboScot is Kevin Daniel at his most personal, playful and perceptive — a feel‑good, laugh‑packed hour that blends heart, humour and storytelling into a show you won’t want to miss.
