Jackie and Naph are two fearless comedians with very different problems—and one thing in common: the ability to convince themselves that whatever’s going wrong is “just a phase”.
Naph mines the funny side of modern Muslim life, family expectations and cultural clashes, alongside all the everyday chaos of trying to make sense of modern Britain. Smart, sharp and instantly relatable, she has a knack for finding the laughs in situations most people wouldn’t dare mention. The result is comedy that feels both wonderfully familiar and just a little bit daring.
Jackie, meanwhile, is trying to run away from everything expected of her at her age. There’s just one snag: someone’s tied her shoelaces together. A committed fan of the ’80s—because, let’s face it, it had the best music—she brings razor-sharp one-liners, clever wordplay and the confidence of someone who is absolutely rubbish at crosswords.
Together, Jackie and Naph turn life’s awkward moments, baffling expectations and questionable decisions into comedy you can laugh at without having to admit you’ve been there too. They’ve tried denial. They’ve tried snacks. They’ve tried being downright stubborn. NEWSFLASH: none of it worked.
So come along for an hour of great comedy, honest observations and absolutely no life advice whatsoever. Some things are best handled with laughter—and Jackie and Naph are still working on the rest.
