Chris McCausland
Chris McCausland has been performing stand-up for two decades and is a regular face on British television. He is an established favourite on such flagship comedy shows as Have I Got News for You, Would I Lie to You?, QI, The last Leg, and 8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. He has appeared on Live at the Apollo three times, taking on the hosting duties in 2021, a year that also saw him make his highly acclaimed debut appearance on The Royal Variety Performance at The Royal Albert hall. Chris has also appeared on entertainment favourites such as Blankety Blank and The Jonathan Ross Show, along with celebrity editions of The Chase, Pointless, and Mastermind – where he won the latter with his chosen specialist subject of Pearl jam. In 2023 Chris has his own travel series on Channel 4, Wonders of the World I Can’t See, and was also part of Channel 4’s hit new entertainment series, Scared of the Dark He has just completed a mammoth 140+ date sell-out national tour, with his final show at the legendary Shepherd’s Bush Empire also being filmed for broadcast on Channel 4. His new tour “Yonks!” will kick off in 2024 and promisses to be even bigger! In 2022 Chris presented a BAFTA with Lee Mack, and the clip went viral. In 2023 Chris then worked with Lee on an episode of Lee’s long running sitcom, Not Going Out.
Esther Manito
Esther Manito is Lebanese-British stand up comedian and winner of Best Show at the Leicester Comedy Festival. After reaching the finals of So You Think You’re Funny and the Funny Women awards, her debut solo show led to an appearance on Live at the Apollo (BBC Two). In addition to being the first female comedian to perform at Dubai Opera House, Esther’s book “Don’t Panic I’m Islamic” was published and is available on Amazon.
Nick Page
With some comics there’s a moment where you ask yourself ‘I wonder how much of this is true?’, with Nick Page you might hope it isn’t true, but somehow know that it is, mostly. His shows are full to bursting with stories from a life lived on the edge of (self inflicted) disaster. In his shows there are no songs, props or padding, just stories packed with jokes from start to finish. The Guardian Newspaper described him as ‘ A bear like man with a host of barely believable stories about life, love and brushes with the law’. In the last few years he has won the prestigious title ‘English Comedian of the Year’, performed at comedy festivals in 3 continents and been awarded the Operational Service Medal by the British army for numerous gigs in warzones, doing everything from shows in Camp Bastion and Kandahar for 5000 troops at a time, to being helicoptered to perform for 20 soldiers in a patrol base in the desert. He’s reached the live finals of Britain’s Got Talent despite having never watched the show. A typical week in the UK might see performances in pubs and theatres before a weekend run at a comedy club. Between cruises and expat bookings he’s now performed in over half the world’s countries, and even kept busy during covid lockdown performing over 100 online gigs from a studio in his garage.
Ross Smith
Ross Smith is a multi-talented comedian, actor, and MC, known for his quick wit, sharp humor, and engaging storytelling. A standout performer at the Edinburgh Festival, Ross made waves with his debut solo show, I Am Ross Smith, inspired by his viral adventure where he went on holiday with strangers in place of another man named Ross Smith. The show garnered critical acclaim and was a highlight of the festival. He followed up the next year with another sellout show Crying Shame which featured two of Dave’s Top Ten Jokes of the Fringe, cementing his status as one of the most exciting emerging voices in comedy. In addition to his stand-up, Ross has showcased his versatility in the acting world, appearing in the Apple TV series Slow Horses, and Karl Pilkington’s sitcom Sick of it . Ross is a regular performer at many London clubs including a semi residency at Banana Cabaret, a staple of the London comedy scene, where his quick wit and natural charisma keep audiences laughing week after week. As an MC, Ross is a sought-after host for events, known for his ability to engage and entertain crowds with ease. His talents also extend behind the scenes, where he has worked as a director and writer, further honing his creative skills. Whether on stage, in front of the camera, or behind it, Ross Smith continues to build a reputation for his exceptional talent, quick wit, and unique perspective.
