Kilburn Welfare Social Club, Belper • Saturday 6 February 2027 • 20:00

Comedy is back at the Kilburn Welfare Social Club.

Following an amazing event last year, we are back with an absolute firecracker of a show.

Terry Alderton

Terry Alderton has always been something special. With a set full of extraordinary caricatures – where he famously is interrupted, and with his back turned, battles with his TWO inner voices’ – and some stunningly acute impressions, observations and a hyperactive delivery, stand-up performer Terry Alderton is loved by comics and fans alike.

TV Credits: Live at the Apollo (BBC), Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow (BBC), The Comedy Store (Channel 5), The Harry Hill Show (CH4), The Jonathan Ross Show, The Royal Variety Performance (ITV)

“He’s a very funny man with a fantastic comedy mind, but someone who really ought to seek some sort of professional help”. Eddie Izzard.

Christian Reilly
Opening the show is Christian Reilly, a musical comedy genius, who performs the most hilarious comedy songs on his guitar. He is cool, current and seriously funny and performs very funny, catchy tunes… hysterical material. Not to be missed, once seen, never forgotten!

Karen Bayley

Delightfully saucy, her friendly and confident stage presence combined with a killer wit, an infectious giggle, and some devastating one-liners, make her a comedic force to be reckoned with. Karen has a warm and welcoming, but saucy and spiky, edge. Her bold, no-nonsense attitude strikes a perfect pitch with men and women alike.

Karen has recently been supporting Joe Lycett on his tour.
“Bayley’s material surprises with inspired and sparkling punchlines…with comic timing that is rarely less than brilliant. An assured performer who doesn’t have much trouble getting audiences laughing.” – Chortle

All held together by Mr Flat Cap Comedy, Stevie Gray, with his upbeat mix of crowdwork, music, stories and jokes.

Christian Reilly
“If you’re a fan of Bill Bailey or Rich Hall, you’re probably a Christian Reilly fan already...” THE GUARDIAN Christian is a global comedy circuit headliner and has appeared at numerous international comedy festivals, on BBC radio and TV, and in four series of the Chortle Award-winning stand-up and sketch show ‘Richard Herring: As It Occurs To Me’. In 2015, BBC Radio 4 followed Christian on the road to the Edinburgh Fringe for ‘Lives In a Landscape’. 2016 saw Christian taking his comedy to Australia as part of Perth’s Fringeworld festival. Christian has performed at the Edinburgh Festival since 1999, and his most recent show, Gig Economy, was released on DVD through Go Faster Stripe in 2019. “Like watching Jack Dee and Bill Bailey simultaneously… I don’t think I’ve ever come so close to hyperventilating with laughter…” ★★★★★ THE STUDENT
Karen Bayley
Karen Bayley is a Midlands based act hailing from Birmingham and has been on the circuit for over a decade. She made a name for herself early on in her career reaching the semi-final of the prestigious BBC New Comedy Awards and was later crowned the winner of the 2001 Komedia New Act prize. Karen was the first ever female winner of our very own King Gong award as well as reaching the finals of both the BBC New Comedy Awards Showcase and Babycham Funny Women. Delightfully saucy, her friendly and confident stage presence, combined with a killer wit, an infectious giggle and some devastating one-liners make her a comedic force to be reckoned with. Warm and welcoming with a hilarious spiky edge, her bold, no nonsense attitude strikes a perfect pitch with men and women alike. Karen supported Joe Lycett on his 2016 tour and also appeared in the Aviva Goth Advert Campaign.
Stevie Gray
A cheeky and versatile comedian, Stevie Gray's act combines jokes, music, news stories and audience participation to create an up-tempo energy in any room Stevie has been performing now for over 8 years and is a very popular act indeed. Career highlights so far have been headlining the Bognor Regis Comedy Festival, headlining a show at the Woking Comedy Festival, headlining and compering the Comedy Tent at the Blissfields music festival and being the opening comedy act at Guilfest 2012. Stevie also supported Terry Alderton on his National Tour warm up. TV Credits include FHM's stand-up hero and an advert for Sky Sports / Carlsberg. Radio Credits include BBC Radio 2's new comedy awards and writing credits include jokes for NUTS magazine, Loaded magazine and FHM. Time and again, audiences are left beaming after seeing Stevie, both from his fantastic comedy, but also from the warmth and genuine joy he shares with everyone who meets him. “Like watching sunshine” – Notts Comedy Review
