Wars of the Roses - Historians Ruined My Act

The King Richard III Visitor Centre, Leicester • Saturday 13 February 2027 • 11:00

Overview

For years I've been interested in the Wars of the Roses and developed a banging comedy routine comparing the Duke of York from that time to the former Duke of York from the Windsor family and legendary songstress Jane McDonald. Then it all got serious .... because historians rewrote history.... Do I ignore the new truths or plough on and go for the gags? I'll tell the story and you can decide. A sideways look at all things Wars of the Roses!
