Tasmin Sarkany Performs the Entirety* of Les Miserables on Violin and Kazoo (WIP)

LCB Depot, Leicester • Saturday 20 February 2027 • 14:30

Overview

Tasmin Sarkany (BBC New Comedy Awards shortlist 2025, Musical Comedy Awards finalist 2023) performs Victor Hugo's devastating work with the lesser known original instrumentation. She doesn't do anything else at all\* as this would undermine the seriousness of the piece. Examples of things she definitely won't do are telling jokes, singing songs and misleading the audience in the description.

"one of the most exciting new comedic voices on the circuit" (Edinburgh Reviews) "the spirit of musical comedy" (Beyond the Joke) "completely original (and slightly bonkers)" (Funny Women)
