Ripley’s premier comedy club returns to Elements Live Lounge for a Sunday afternoon packed with live stand-up and musical comedy.
Headlining is Ashley Frieze, a guitar-wielding powerhouse who has spent more than 20 years entertaining audiences with sharp observations, quick wit and brilliantly crafted comedy songs spanning everything from jazz to Coldplay. He is joined by Graeme Rayner, the man behind Gag ’n’ Bone Man Comedy, whose smart crowd work and warm, inclusive style have made him a firm favourite at clubs and festivals across the country; Dr Michael McKenzie, a BBC New Comedy Awards semi-finalist whose stand-up and musical comedy draw on his extraordinary experiences growing up in hospital and working as a one-legged NHS doctor; and Sean Payne, an exciting rising star making a name for himself on the circuit. Holding it all together is RockCentral’s own Anthony Williams, an experienced host known for relatable humour, quick audience interaction and keeping the show moving at exactly the right pace.
Expect a lively afternoon of comedy in the intimate surroundings of Elements Live Lounge.
