Join us at Marine Hall for one huge night of live stand-up comedy as Chuckl. brings four of our favourite acts to Fleetwood, featuring Phil Ellis, Louise Young, Micky P. Kerr and Chris Cairns.

Phil Ellis - As seen on Taskmaster.
Phil Ellis is an award-winning comedian known for his brilliantly off-beat observational material, physical comedy and unpredictable live performances. He became an instant fan favourite during his appearance on Series 20 of Taskmaster, and his acclaimed live work includes the Edinburgh Comedy Award Panel Prize-winning show Funz and Gamez. His official biography also credits Funz and Gamez with broadcasts as part of BBC Radio 4’s Fresh from the Fest and BBC Three’s Comedy Feeds.

Louise Young - As seen on Live at the Apollo and Comedy Central Live.
Louise Young is an actor, writer, director and stand-up comedian from Newcastle who has quickly become one of the most exciting names on the UK comedy circuit. Her credits include Live at the Apollo and Comedy Central Live, and her debut Edinburgh Festival Fringe show Feral was nominated for Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards. With sharp writing, natural warmth and a brilliantly engaging stage presence, Louise brings confidence, personality and big laughs to the line-up.

Micky P. Kerr - Britain’s Got Talent Finalist.
Micky P. Kerr is a Leeds-based comedian, musician and social commentator whose act fuses music, spoken word and comedy. In 2018, he reached the final of Britain’s Got Talent, becoming a hit with both the judges and the public. With a distinctive musical comedy style and a strong live circuit reputation, Micky brings something original, playful and brilliantly different to the bill.

Chris Cairns - One of our favourite MCs.
Holding the night together is Chris Cairns, a hugely experienced comedian and compere known for his charm, natural enthusiasm and quick-thinking crowd work. Regularly booked to host some of the biggest comedy rooms in the UK, Chris has built a reputation as a safe pair of hands with strong improvisational skills, sharp put-downs and an easy connection with audiences.

Four fantastic acts, one brilliant night of comedy. Expect big laughs, top-quality live stand-up and a proper comedy club atmosphere from start to finish.

Phil Ellis

Multi-award winning 'comic genius' (The Scotsman) and breakout star of Taskmaster (C4), Phil Ellis is going on his first full national stand-up tour. Following his three big award wins at the 2025 Edinburgh Fringe, Phil, the very definition of funny bones, presents his show ‘Bath Mat’. Jam-packed with laugh-out-loud profound silliness, superbly crafted gags and constant surprises, Phil is bringing his 'Bath Mat' to a city near you.

Louise Young

Hailing from Newcastle, Louise has quickly become one of the brightest new names on the comedy circuit. A regular at clubs such as The Glee, The Stand and Komedia, Louise has also been supporting the likes of Jason Manford, Alan Carr, Tom Davis, Angela Barnes and Tom Allen on their nation-wide tours around the UK and Ireland. Louise debuted at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe at the Pleasance Courtyard last year with her show ‘Feral’ – about class, chaos and coming out. The show received rave reviews and was nominated for Edinburgh Comedy Awards: Best Newcomer Show, going on to appear at London Soho Theatre’s Best Newcomer Season in 2024. The show was also nominated for NextUp’s Biggest Award in Comedy and was named as “one to watch” by Rolling Stone. Louise has appeared on Comedy Central Live, as well as writing and acting in Channel 4’s Original Comedy Shorts on three sketches, one of which went on to receive over 5 million views. She also appeared on BBC Radio 4’s Fred at The Stand. At the Leicester Comedy Festival, Louise has been nominated for Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year 2020, Best Festival Appearance in 2021 and Best Debut Show in 2023. Louise was a finalist in the Funny Women Awards in 2018, she was also nominated for a Gillard Award in 2019, and in 2020 nominated Newcomer of the Year for presenting a weekly comedy show on BBC Radio Newcastle.

Micky P. Kerr

Fusing together music, spoken word and comedy, with his tongue often planted firmly in his cheek, Kerr has been described as “the bastard spawn of John Cooper Clarke”. Already a familiar face on the live music circuit, Micky turned his hand to stand-up comedy in 2013 and quickly became “one to watch”. In 2018 Micky entered Britain’s Got Talent, where he proved to be a massive hit with both the public and the judges, making it all the way to the final, which was watched by almost 11 million people. 2017 saw Micky take his debut solo show, ‘Micky P Kerr is Lay-Z’ to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. He returned in 2019 with ‘Z List Celebrity’, which then went on to tour the UK. Both shows received rave reviews. At the end of 2018, life-long Leeds Utd fan Micky wrote a ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ parody entitled ‘Bielsa Rhapsody’, a tribute to the Argentinan Leeds United manager. It immediately went viral after it was picked up by SportsBible, gaining over 5 million hits. The song was released at Christmas as a charity single in aid of the Forget Me Not Children's Hospice and it reached No 5 in the itunes chart! Micky now performs, for all the top clubs around the UK and is a firm favourite at music festivals.

Chris Cairns

You don't get booked to compere some of the largest rooms in the UK regularly without having the reputation as one of the safest pair of hands in the business. Chris has bags of charm and a natural enthusiasm which makes him irresistible to audiences and while not looking very quick on his feet, he more than makes up for it with his speed of thought. His spontaneity and improvisational skills have created a demand for him not only as a compere but also as a strong and vastly experienced headline act. Chris has gained a reputation for being able to handle the toughest of rooms with his sharp put downs and a fine eye for a cutting remark.
