Chris McCausland is one of the UK’s most recognisable stand-up comedians, known for his sharp observations, quick wit and brilliantly engaging live performances. His comedy credits include Live at the Apollo, and he has also appeared on major TV shows including Would I Lie To You?, QI and Have I Got News For You. Chris reached an even wider audience through Strictly Come Dancing, bringing his humour, warmth and personality to one of the UK’s biggest entertainment shows.

Terry Alderton is one of Britain’s most distinctive live comedians, known for his explosive energy, physical comedy, character work and brilliantly unpredictable stage presence. His TV credits include Live at the Apollo, Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, The Royal Variety Performance, The Jonathan Ross Show and Dave’s One Night Stand.

Wendy Wason - As seen in The IT Crowd and heard on BBC Radio Scotland.
Wendy Wason is a Scottish comedian, actress and writer whose screen credits include The IT Crowd, Sherlock, Broken News and Creeped Out. She also wrote and starred in her own BBC Radio Scotland sitcom Half My Age Plus Seven. Quirky, original and hugely watchable, Wendy brings warmth, personality and plenty of comedy experience to the line-up.

Ross Smith is a comedian, actor and MC known for his quick wit, engaging storytelling and relaxed, audience-friendly style. His screen credits include Apple TV+ series Slow Horses and Karl Pilkington’s sitcom Sick of It, while his live comedy work has seen him become a regular face at comedy clubs across the UK.

Chris McCausland has been performing stand-up for two decades and is a regular face on British television. He is an established favourite on such flagship comedy shows as Have I Got News for You, Would I Lie to You?, QI, The last Leg, and 8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. He has appeared on Live at the Apollo three times, taking on the hosting duties in 2021, a year that also saw him make his highly acclaimed debut appearance on The Royal Variety Performance at The Royal Albert hall. Chris has also appeared on entertainment favourites such as Blankety Blank and The Jonathan Ross Show, along with celebrity editions of The Chase, Pointless, and Mastermind – where he won the latter with his chosen specialist subject of Pearl jam. In 2023 Chris has his own travel series on Channel 4, Wonders of the World I Can’t See, and was also part of Channel 4’s hit new entertainment series, Scared of the Dark He has just completed a mammoth 140+ date sell-out national tour, with his final show at the legendary Shepherd’s Bush Empire also being filmed for broadcast on Channel 4. His new tour “Yonks!” will kick off in 2024 and promisses to be even bigger! In 2022 Chris presented a BAFTA with Lee Mack, and the clip went viral. In 2023 Chris then worked with Lee on an episode of Lee’s long running sitcom, Not Going Out.

Wendy Wason

A Scottish actress and comedian, Wendy launched her comedy career in 2004, getting to the final of Funny Women and semi-finals of So You Think You’re Funny at the Edinburgh Fringe the following year. She was already an established actress with roles in Coupling and the IT Crowd working with everyone from Chris O’Dowd and Nicholas Lyndhurst to Johnny Depp and John Malkovich. February 2014 saw Wendy nominated for best actress in Hollywood for British Hustle, the Toscars spoof. Whilst her acting career continues, her comedy career has taken off. 2008 saw Wendy in America on NBC’s Last Comic Standing and was also the year she did her first one-woman show at The Edinburgh Festival: Things I Didn’t Know. Her charisma and wit ensured packed houses. After the success of that she returned with three further solo shows culminating with this year’s knock out show, Hotel California. She has performed in all the major UK clubs such as Just the Tonic, The Glee Club, The Comedy Store, The Stand, and Laughter House in Dublin. In 2012 she was invited to the New York Comedy Festival and charmed audiences there too. She currently performs as part of The Cutting Edge at The Comedy Store in London and has written and stars in her own sitcom for BBC Scotland – Half My Age Plus Seven, due for broadcast in October 2014 and she writes for the Huffington Post. Ross Smith

Ross Smith is a multi-talented comedian, actor, and MC, known for his quick wit, sharp humor, and engaging storytelling. A standout performer at the Edinburgh Festival, Ross made waves with his debut solo show, I Am Ross Smith, inspired by his viral adventure where he went on holiday with strangers in place of another man named Ross Smith. The show garnered critical acclaim and was a highlight of the festival. He followed up the next year with another sellout show Crying Shame which featured two of Dave’s Top Ten Jokes of the Fringe, cementing his status as one of the most exciting emerging voices in comedy. In addition to his stand-up, Ross has showcased his versatility in the acting world, appearing in the Apple TV series Slow Horses, and Karl Pilkington’s sitcom Sick of it . Ross is a regular performer at many London clubs including a semi residency at Banana Cabaret, a staple of the London comedy scene, where his quick wit and natural charisma keep audiences laughing week after week. As an MC, Ross is a sought-after host for events, known for his ability to engage and entertain crowds with ease. His talents also extend behind the scenes, where he has worked as a director and writer, further honing his creative skills. Whether on stage, in front of the camera, or behind it, Ross Smith continues to build a reputation for his exceptional talent, quick wit, and unique perspective.
