Angela Barnes – As seen on Live at the Apollo and Mock the Week.
Angela Barnes is an award-winning stand-up comedian, writer and broadcaster, best known for her appearances on Live at the Apollo and Mock the Week. Winner of the BBC New Comedy Award in 2011, Angela has also appeared on BBC Radio 4’s The News Quiz and The Now Show, and hosted Newsjack on BBC Radio 4 Extra. Warm, sharp and brilliantly down-to-earth, Angela brings strong joke-writing and a naturally funny stage presence to every show.

Fiona Allen – As seen on Smack the Pony and Mock the Week.
Fiona Allen is a comedian and actress best known for writing and starring in the iconic Channel 4 sketch show Smack the Pony. Her extensive screen credits also include Mock the Week, 8 Out of 10 Cats, Alan Partridge’s Scissored Isle, Coronation Street, EastEnders, Shameless, Skins, Waterloo Road and Death in Paradise. With years of comedy and acting experience behind her, Fiona brings sharp character work, confidence and brilliant comic timing to the line-up.

Ross Smith – As seen in Slow Horses and Sick of It.
Ross Smith is a comedian, actor and MC known for his quick wit, engaging storytelling and relaxed, audience-friendly style. His screen credits include Apple TV+ series Slow Horses and Karl Pilkington’s sitcom Sick of It, while his live comedy work has seen him become a regular face at comedy clubs across the UK.

Paul Cox – One of our favourite MCs.
Holding the night together is Paul Cox, a professional comedian, writer and broadcaster who has performed stand-up across the UK. A regular on GB News shows Headliners and Free Speech Nation, Paul has also supported comedians including Hal Cruttenden, Paul McCaffrey and Esther Manito on tour, and was a finalist in the Hackney Empire New Act NATYS in 2018.

Angela Barnes

Angela Barnes swapped a career in health and social care for stand up in 2010 and hasn’t looked back. Within just a couple of years she had won the BBC New Comedy Award in 2011 and has since toured the UK and starred in BBC Two’s iconic 21 series Mock the Week as a regular, as well as Live at the Apollo, and Hypothetical on Dave. She is a firm favourite on BBC Radio 4, having featured on The Now Show and The News Quiz – including a recent stint as the host, she also hosted BBC Radio 4 Extra’s Newsjack. Angela co-hosted the less-than-serious popular podcast We Are History, which has just teamed up with Podmasters, with John O’Farrell. Six series strong and with over a million downloads, the two history nerds discuss, explain, and laugh at interesting and quirky episodes from the olden days.

Fiona Allen

Off the back of her sell-out debut Edinburgh Fringe Fiona is just completed a successful UK tour selling out in most places. Fiona’s sassy anecdotal style walks her audience through frustrations with her husband & three kids and her need to get out of the house and away from them. A natural comedian, she is warm but fearless. Ross Smith

Ross Smith is a multi-talented comedian, actor, and MC, known for his quick wit, sharp humor, and engaging storytelling. A standout performer at the Edinburgh Festival, Ross made waves with his debut solo show, I Am Ross Smith, inspired by his viral adventure where he went on holiday with strangers in place of another man named Ross Smith. The show garnered critical acclaim and was a highlight of the festival. He followed up the next year with another sellout show Crying Shame which featured two of Dave’s Top Ten Jokes of the Fringe, cementing his status as one of the most exciting emerging voices in comedy. In addition to his stand-up, Ross has showcased his versatility in the acting world, appearing in the Apple TV series Slow Horses, and Karl Pilkington’s sitcom Sick of it . Ross is a regular performer at many London clubs including a semi residency at Banana Cabaret, a staple of the London comedy scene, where his quick wit and natural charisma keep audiences laughing week after week. As an MC, Ross is a sought-after host for events, known for his ability to engage and entertain crowds with ease. His talents also extend behind the scenes, where he has worked as a director and writer, further honing his creative skills. Whether on stage, in front of the camera, or behind it, Ross Smith continues to build a reputation for his exceptional talent, quick wit, and unique perspective.

Paul Cox

Paul Cox is a professional comedian, writer and broadcaster. Paul started stand-up comedy in 2015 and since then has performed all over the UK. A regular on the GB News shows Headliners & Free Speech Nation, he has supported Hal Cruttenden, Paul McCaffrey and Esther Manito on tour, and appeared at the Byline Festival and Victorious in his home town of Portsmouth. Paul was also a finalist in the prestigious Hackney Empire New Act NATYS 2018.
