Reginald D Hunter is one of the UK comedy scene’s best-known performers for his distinctive take on subjects including race and sexuality. He makes regular appearances on comedy panel shows like 8 Out of 10 Cats, Never Mind the Buzzcocks and Have I Got News For You. In 2015 he filmed BBC2’s enormously popular Reginald D Hunter’s Songs of the South, followed by Song’s of the Border, where he takes a road trip through the musically rich Southern States. From country music in Tennessee, to hip hop in Georgia, to the blues in Louisiana, Reginald D Hunter’s astute commentary makes ‘essential viewing for music fans’ (The Independent). Having initially travelled to the UK at the age of 27 as a theatre student training at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, Reginald became a comedian after performing his first comedy set as a dare. He received £100 for this. Realising that he enjoyed performing comedy, Reginald turned his attention from acting to stand-up. Reginald was nominated for the Perrier Award in the 2002, 2003 and 2004 Edinburgh Festivals, and won the Writers’ Guild Award for Comedy in 2006 for his show Pride & Prejudice… & Niggas.

Brennan Reece

As seen on Live At The Apollo (BBC), Celeb Coach Trip (E4) and Roast Battle (Comedy Central). Brennan is a multi award winning working class wordsmith (Edinburgh Best Newcomer Nominee and English Comedian Of The Year Winner) . A stand-up, a storyteller and self confessed mummy’s boy. His boyish cheeks recently cropped up on Survival Of The Fittest (ITV), The Stand Up Sketch Show (ITV) Live At The Comedy Store (Comedy Central) and racking up over 6 million YouTube hits for his stint on Top Gear (BBC). A true Northern voice, with family close to his heart. Your Mum is going to love him! Not like that, you dirty little perve. "A powerfully entertaining, unstoppable force" (Chortle) "A teenage Alan Bennett" (The Skinny) “Absolutely incredible” (Phoebe Waller Bridge) "Beautiful, raucous and touching" (The Independent) ***** (The Voice), ***** (Define Arts), ***** (Reviews Hub), ***** (Chortle), ***** (Uber)

Louise Young

Hailing from Newcastle, Louise has quickly become one of the brightest new names on the comedy circuit. A regular at clubs such as The Glee, The Stand and Komedia, Louise has also been supporting the likes of Jason Manford, Alan Carr, Tom Davis, Angela Barnes and Tom Allen on their nation-wide tours around the UK and Ireland. Louise debuted at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe at the Pleasance Courtyard last year with her show ‘Feral’ – about class, chaos and coming out. The show received rave reviews and was nominated for Edinburgh Comedy Awards: Best Newcomer Show, going on to appear at London Soho Theatre’s Best Newcomer Season in 2024. The show was also nominated for NextUp’s Biggest Award in Comedy and was named as “one to watch” by Rolling Stone. Louise has appeared on Comedy Central Live, as well as writing and acting in Channel 4’s Original Comedy Shorts on three sketches, one of which went on to receive over 5 million views. She also appeared on BBC Radio 4’s Fred at The Stand. At the Leicester Comedy Festival, Louise has been nominated for Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year 2020, Best Festival Appearance in 2021 and Best Debut Show in 2023. Louise was a finalist in the Funny Women Awards in 2018, she was also nominated for a Gillard Award in 2019, and in 2020 nominated Newcomer of the Year for presenting a weekly comedy show on BBC Radio Newcastle.

Sarah Johnson

Johnson’s amiable nature and saucy, raucous content is delivered in a charming and confident style which is reminiscent of some of Britain’s greatest female comedians, Drawing on her experiences from both the world of entertainment and as a wife and mother, Sarah’s act is a refreshingly candid take on modern life — bold, unfiltered, and utterly relatable. “She’s an energetic performer who works to amplify that enthusiasm” “Terrific, bulletproof material” Steve Bennett, Chortle
