Angela Barnes

Angela Barnes swapped a career in health and social care for stand up in 2010 and hasn’t looked back. Within just a couple of years she had won the BBC New Comedy Award in 2011 and has since toured the UK and starred in BBC Two’s iconic 21 series Mock the Week as a regular, as well as Live at the Apollo, and Hypothetical on Dave. She is a firm favourite on BBC Radio 4, having featured on The Now Show and The News Quiz – including a recent stint as the host, she also hosted BBC Radio 4 Extra’s Newsjack. Angela co-hosted the less-than-serious popular podcast We Are History, which has just teamed up with Podmasters, with John O’Farrell. Six series strong and with over a million downloads, the two history nerds discuss, explain, and laugh at interesting and quirky episodes from the olden days.

Ignacio Lopez

Ignacio Lopez is a Spanish & Welsh comedian based in Cardiff. His family is made up of Spanish, Welsh, Irish, Moroccan, and Germans. Family get-togethers are like a meeting of the U.N. Branded Spain’s Best Export by the Spanish Embassy and Office of Culture in the UK, Ignacio has appeared on TV shows including Live At The Apollo, Have I Got News For You, Comedy Central Live, and more. As well as hosting on TV, headlining top comedy clubs all over the U.K and Europe, and taking the piss out of British people directly to their faces, Ignacio writes sketches, sitcoms, and used to tweet a lot. Every few months something he tweeted would go viral and he'd gain a few thousand followers before they realise he doesn't just tweet witty observations about public transport and songs about hating the U.K. - then they unfollow until the next tweet goes viral. The fickle bastards. Having performed for the Wales football squad, opened for James Dean Bradfield of Manic Street Preachers, Entertained the military, and hosted comedy and corporate events around the World, at last count (probably this morning) Ignacio's videos have received over 100 Million views online.

Dan Antopolski

Dan Antopolski is an award-winning comedian and comic actor. Dan recently shot a role in feature film Paddington 2. His previous acting and TV credits include I Live with Models (Comedy Central), Time Gentlemen Please (Sky1), feature film The Da Vinci Code, The Stand-up Show (BBC1), The World Comedy Tour (Comedy Central) and regular role, Jeffers, in Hyperdrive (BBC2). He has also appeared regularly on CBBC; he was the title character in The Dare Devil and a panellist on The Dog Ate My Homework. 2017 was an exciting year for Dan as a comic; he returned to the Edinburgh Festival with a brand new stand up show after a 7 year hiatus. The Return of the Dan Antopolski received fantastic reviews, including **** from The Sunday Times and The List, and a spot in The Guardian’s ‘Top 10 Jokes of the Fringe’. For his previous shows Dan has received Perrier Award Nominations both for Best Newcomer and Best Show. He also won the BBC New Comedy Award and in 2009 he won the Dave Best Joke Award. He has performed at the biggest international comedy festivals with appearances at Montreal, Melbourne and New York. During his break from stand-up, Dan performed with critically acclaimed sketch group Jigsaw, alongside Tom Craine and Nat Luurtsema. They enjoyed sell-out runs at the Edinburgh Festival, headlined Sketchorama (BBC Radio 4), were series regulars on Live At The Electric (BBC3), and recorded two series of their own show, Jigsaw, for BBC Radio 4. Dan’s radio credits also include Quote Unquote (BBC Radio 4), Stephen K Amos: Life, An Idiot’s Guide (BBC Radio 4), 7 Day Saturday with Al Murray (BBC Radio 5 Live), The Simon Day Show (BBC Radio 4), and Tim Minchin’s Strings (BBC Radio 4).

Roger Monkhouse

A highly original and quirky performer, Roger’s trademark stage-prowling style and curious, inimitable manner have established him as one of the hottest names on the comedy circuit.
